The inappropriate location coefficient K and attenuation coefficient a will cause an obvious deviation when calculating the ground vibration in blasting engineering based on the empirical formula. In this paper, through testing a blasting engineering at a hillside field near coast, the ground vibration and the dominant vibration frequency at differ ent distances were obtained. Compared the result of testing and empir ical calculation,K and a were acquired by using the least square regression. The engineering practice demonstrates that the least square regression is effective in analysis of the blasting vibration attenuation.
