Abstract:The method of remote data acquisition and communication based on the c ontroller area network (CAN) bus and Internet was researched. With browser/serve r (B/S) mode and distributed fieldbus, a remote vibration monitoring system wa s developed, which could acquire the distributed vibration data from single equip ment, many equipments, or even the whole equipments in the factory and monitor t hose equipments. The system has been applied to a turbinegenerator unit to mon i tor its vibration remotely. It is proved that the system is available in data ac quisition and communication, friendly and convenient in interface, and does well in monitoring and analyzing.
