The cause of a tracked vehicle vibration was analyzed. The relationsh i p among the vehicle speed, the road input and the vibration spectrum was analyze d by using a ki netics modeling. By measuring and analyzing vibration acceleration signals from the typical measuring points on the body of track vehicle, it was derived that t he vibration of track vehicle was mainly transferred from undercarriage, and the vibration degree was correlated nearly with the vehicle speed, while the vibrat ion induced by the power train was low. So in the vibration reduction and optimi zation design, the coupling of working frequency and natural frequency should be considered mainly. Changing the natural frequency overlap of local components o f vehicle body can eliminate the resonant coupling phenomenon and decrease the v ibration degree and help to improve manmachineenvironment system of the vehi cle.
