This paper describes a movable measuring method which is employed to me asures the response signals of a bridge under ambient excitation. autopower sp e ctrum analysis,crosspower spectrum analysis and coherence function analysis ar e applied to identify the first three orders of vibration frequencies, damping ra tio and vibration shape. The results show that the method is effective.
