Abstract:An ultrasonic actuator based on near-sound-field is proposed. In the actuator, piezoelectric transducer—the core driving component is designed and manufactured. A modal experiment on the transducer prototype is carried out and the relevant parameters of the dynamic characteristics are obtained according to PVS -300F laser Doppler vibrometer. Furthermore, the suspension capacity experiment is carried out. Results show that the suspension height nonlinearly increases as the excitation voltage increases. The maximum suspension weight per unit area of the actuator is 12.53 g/cm2. In addition, Experimental results are compared with th e theoretical results, and it can be found that above both results have similar changing tendencies.
