Abstract:In order to find vibration sources of a rolling mill, the connecting shaft torque is tested through resistance strain measuring device using collectin g ring, the roller vibration is also tested using accelerometers. From the bite steel and throwing steel testing result, the intrinsic mode parameters of rolling mill are identified and the strip influence on the mill stand inherent charact eristics is studied by using time-domain complex exponential method. Through the five-point straight line moving average method and wavelet denoising method, t he measured waveform is smoothed and de-noised, thus achieving positive efficiency. It is revealed that the mill vibration has non-stationary characteristics and the spindle imbalance impact force is an important factor in the vibration mill by time-frequency analysis of the measured signal.
