Abstract:Based on the mechanism of the end effect and the current research devel opment, a new method of kriging optimization is presented, through which the end effect is restrained. By the computation of best linear undeviating forecasting between the original signal end points and their up and down envelopes, the envelopes will maximally approach the end points, which restrains the envelope divergence in EMD algorithm.The three methods, original EMD, EMD based on mirror and EMD based on kriging, are compared, simulation and experiment results show that the proposed method can restrain end effect effectively, reflect the feature of simulation signal precisely and extract structure modal parameters accurately.
