Abstract:A vibration testing system for inverter scroll compressors is developed to facilitate the fault diagnosis for scroll compressors. This testing system is based on LabVIEW software tool and its main functions include: control of frequency conversion, collection of vibration signals, data reading and writing, and analysis of vibration signals. The cepstrum method and the theory of correlation analysis are utilized in the real-time analysis of vibration signals. The vibration sources are determined by fault diagnosis of scroll compressor. Finally, the measures for decreasing vibration are proposed. A new method for the fault diagnosis and performance improvement of scroll fluid machine is provided.
