Abstract:In order to study the radiating noise of a roller driving system, the mechanical model, finite element model and noise prediction model are presented respectively in this paper. Some vibration and radiating noise signals are measured in experiments. The equivalent exciting load spectra at the positions where the rollers contact each other are identified based on the vibration signals measured by the technology of inverse load identification. The vibration velocity responses at each measuring position are calculated by Matlab. Then the responses are input into the radiating noise prediction model as the system exciting conditions, so that the radiating noise of the system is calculated and compared with the test results. According to the comparison results, the radiating noise prediction model is modified. Further computation and comparison indicates that the radiating noise of the roller driving system can be computed accurately with the modified model.
