Abstract:In order to investigate the driving performance of traveling-wave type rotary ultrasonic motor with the co-rotating load under vacuum and high-low temperature environment, a testing system is designed and built, which is used to measure the load torque and the motor speed. At the same time, temperature control measures are used to make sure that the testing equipment precision will not fall under high-low temperature environment. The experimental results show that effective testing data can be obtained by using this system and the driving performance curves of ultrasonic motor can be drawn from the testing data under vacuum and high-low temperature environment. By comparing those curves with the curves under normal temperature and normal pressure environment, some useful conclusions can be obtained. It is obvious that the vacuum and high-low temperature environment has made some impacts on the driving performance of ultrasonic motor with the co-rotating load.
