Abstract:Matching demodulation is a new method of time-frequency analysis. The paper proposes a matching demodulation and synchrosqueezing technology to extract ridges of frequency from a multi-component-signal spectrum. The ridges of weak energy component signals are obtained by using translation operator filtering and envelope line filtering. By using this method, the fault component can be simultaneously extracted with the component of the fundamental frequency. Simulation and example analyses show that the proposed method is superior to the general ridge extraction method. The method applied to the planet gearbox, can effectively extract the fault characteristic component, and the fundamental frequency.
