Abstract:Durability load spectrum edition method based on multi-parameter indexes character retention is proposed to shorten the load spectrum to accelerate the durability test. The load spectrum is compressed when information like damage of the load spectrum, the density of power spectrum and statistical parameters are taken into consideration. Taking the suspending coil spring as an example, the load spectrum is edited both by the proposed method and the traditional damage-based load spectrum edition method. Two shorter edited load spectrums are obtained and assessed in the durability simulation. The results prove that the compressed loading spectrum works the same as what the original one does.
